First Daisy

daisy loom daisy using Canon simply Soft Ocean

This is the first daisy. You can do so much with these if you just want to.
You can:

Do different color centers
Make a double sided (reversable) blanket.
Choose different weights of yarn for a light or heavy piece.
Wrap anywhere from 2 to however many you like, I wrapped 4 times with this one.

You may connect as you go by weaving the petals from a prior made daisy into the one your on.
You may crochet the daisies together.

The combinations are as long as you can dream up!
and this is machine washable.

back from wallyworld...

Well I went with the jewel colors aka peacock color pallet.

What do you think?

This is the shabby chic colors I am using with for our in process makeover.

Hubby didn't want chic pink (go figure) so I chose chic blues.

Inspiration...

I fell in love with this pattern. It is an older Victorian design and I can't wait to start! I'm heading to the store to choose the colors, these colors are absolutely beautiful but wouldn't match anything in our home. oh well. We are remodeling to shabby chic and this pattern is a perfect accent to any room! And with the cooler weather coming on us fast it will definitely be a nice addition.

Victorian Inspiration

I have started a blog for the remodel project too if you'd like to take a look...Shabby-Chic-Boutique

Anyway, I decided to make it 72" x 72" and also do the sham to match. The daisy Loom is an all time favorite of mine. I will be connecting them as I go.

My grandmother had spent some time with me when I was younger trying to teach me to crochet. I wasn't very good. But even as a child I remember even using my fingers to loom!

I'll be post the yarn colors I choose so I hope I get it right! Off to "Wallysworld" :)~
